Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Mable Brundage died August 23, 2012, at Friendship Village at the age of 96, in Kalamazoo, MI. Mable was born February 4, 1916, in Alpena, Michigan, the daughter of Fred R Trelfa and Mable C. Hagen Trelfa. She graduated from Alpena High School Class of 1934, and attended Michigan State College where she met her future husband, F. Ward Brundage. She married Ward on November 25, 1937, who preceded her in death. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Joanne Jan Baxter of Fisherville, KY., and Fred Margo Brundage of Portage, MI., 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren; a brother-in-law Joseph Brundage of Holland, MI., several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law Jenny Trelfa. Mable was also preceded in death by her parents, her Brother Richard Trelfa, and a sister-in-law Thelma Brundage. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Graveside Memorial Service to be held on Friday, August 31, at 10:00am at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan meet in assembly area at 9:50. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
