Went to be with her Lord Thursday evening, December 10, 2015. Lynnette was born February 28, 1944, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Francis and Gertrude (LaRoy) Baker. She was an active member of Spring Valley Church where she enjoyed various activities and Sunday School. Lynnette especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her pet cats. On July 14, 1962, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Irving, who preceded her in death on May 19, 2000. She is survived by her children, Richard (Karen) Sangsland, Stephen (Donna) Sangsland, Michelle Sangsland; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Cheryl (Dan) Slack, Pam (Cliff) Cunningham; several brother and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, December 15, at Spring Valley Church, 5240 Mt. Olivet Rd. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Monday, December 14, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center or Spring Valley Church.
