Formerly of Kalamazoo Lynn M. Minnig, passed away on December 10, 2012, at 11:50 am. Lynn was born on November 6, 1953, in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of William Emrick and Antonina Barbera, Emrick Hollister and was a resident of Michigan before becoming a resident of Wilmington, Delaware for the last twenty-five years. She was a graduate of Kingswood School Cranbrook Bloomfield Hills 1971, Kalamazoo College BA, Psychology 1975, Eastern Michigan University MA, Counseling 1983, and Delaware College of Art and Design Interior Design 2002. She was also certified by the Interior Design Society. She worked for the University of Michigan Ann Arbor for ten years, notably as Service Supervisor for the University of Michigan Hospital paging services for seven years. Upon her marriage to Donald Minnig and moving to Delaware, she worked for the Bank of New York and First USA as Supervisor of Cardholder Service and Dispute Departments. Subsequently, she joined Ethan Allen where she worked for thirteen years as Interior Design and Senior Project Manager. She also worked for Thomasville Furnishings for two years as Interior Designer and Office Administrator. Her personal interests were cooking and gardening, home remodeling, as well as her several cats. She was united in marriage on January 24, 1987 with Donald Minnig, whom she met at her 15th High School Reunion. She is survived by her husband, Donald; her parents, step-mother, Marie; sister, Pia Greg Antonetti; nephew, Edan; niece, Ana Antonetti and numerous relatives from the Barbera and Emrick families. She leaves behind a legion of friends and former colleagues both in Michigan and Delaware. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street from 11am-12pm followed by a Memorial Service at 12pm.
