Lyle James Weidemann Jr.

Passed away peacefully Monday evening, June 24, 2024 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Lyle was born November 1, 1938 in Kalamazoo, the son of Lyle Sr. and Evelyn (Annen) Weidemann. He was a veteran serving in the Air National Guard. Lyle worked for Brinks Armored Car Service as Manager of the Kalamazoo office for many years. He enjoyed bowling, golf and the occasional trip to the casino. 

On December 28, 2002 Lyle was united in marriage to his loving wife, Judy (Overholser) Weidemann who survives. Also surviving are his children, Wendy Magnuson, Michael (Teresa) Weidemann; step-children, Vicki (Michael) Jones, Marsha Esman, Micki Hinnershitz; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene (Carl) Pontello, Sue (Dave) Green; and 3 nieces. A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, June 28 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
