of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away September 23, 2009 at Tendercare of Westwood. She was born May 18, 1911 in Bloomingdale, MI, to the late Harry and Iris Rhoades Shryock. Lulu was united in marriage on December 22, 1939 to Merrel Fike, who preceded her in death in 1988. Surviving Lulu are, her niece, Diana Day of Schoolcraft; 2 great nieces, Linda Mike Jurgensen and Tammy Steve Rhoda; 1 great great niece, and; 4 great great nephews. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Merrel Fike; sister, Irene Day, and; nephew, Tom Day. Graveside services will take place Monday, 3:00, at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, in the chapel. Family will greet friends from 2-3:00 in the chapel. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., Portage.
