Dykehouse, Lucille L.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away October 20, 2009 at Bronson Hospital. She was born November 6, 1925 in Beecher, IL to the late William and Selma Bruns Lohmann. Lucille was married to Jacob Dykehouse on May 7, 1949, who preceded her in death in November of 1988. She was very much a people person, who loved her family, friends and making new friends. She also loved to travel the world as well as enjoying the simpler things, like golfing, bowling and playing cards. Surviving Lucille are her children, Terry Jan Dykehouse of Hastings and Debra Stamp of Kalamazoo; special grandchildren, Shayla Reasner, Anthony Stamp and Alexis Stamp; sister, Dorothy Metzger; brother, Paul Sandy Lohmann; sister/brother-in-law, Marian Jake Zuidema; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were, her sister, Marcella, and; brother, Harold Lohmann. A Memorial service will take place Saturday, 1:00p.m., at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where family will greet friends from 11:00 - 1:00p.m. Memorials in Lucille's name may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, 448 N. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
