GLADYSZ, Louise N. Johnson
Of Parchment Louise passed away Saturday evening, July 3, 2010 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1913 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harry and Eva Mohney Morris. She was employed by Allied Paper Co. in Kalamazoo for 31 years until her retirement. Preceding her in death were two husbands, William C. Johnson Sr. in 1965 and Andrew Gladysz in 2000; three brothers, Wesley, LeRoy, and Francis Morris; one sister, Genevieve Taft; and two grandchildren, Michael Johnson and Kim Johnson Sink. Surviving are 7 children, Maxine Webb of Kalamazoo, Barbara Solleveld of Parchment, Richard Patricia Johnson of Kalamazoo, Sam Sheila Johnson of Kalamazoo, Louise Ambs of Parchment, Joyce Duane Geiger of Parchment, and William C. Jr. Sheila Johnson of Plainwell; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Gladysz will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Rev. Dr. Harry Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity on one's choice.
