Louis O. Germay

GERMAY, LOUIS O.
of Mattawan Louis met his Creator face to face on Sunday evening, April 22, 2012 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI while battling a brief illness with cancer. Louis was born on September 3, 1957 in Liege, Belgium. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Le'ona Hamers Germay. Louis and his family immigrated to America on September 17, 1969. Louis was married to his high school sweetheart, Brenda Bloemsma on August 27, 1977. Louis has worked for Kalamazoo Spring Company, Bronson Methodist Hospital and currently at McKesson in the I.T. Department. He loved his Lord, his family and his soccer. His smile and great sense of humor will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, his children Nathan Kelly Germay of Scotts, Matthew of Ann Arbor, Nicole of Belgium, Christopher Darley of Portage and two grand-daughters, Emelyn and Noelle Germay. He is also survived by his two brothers, Joe Linda and Roger Josee', nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. on Friday, April 27th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Celebration of Louis' life will be held at Southern Heights Church, 4141 E. Hillandale, Kalamazoo on Saturday, April 28 at 11am with a light lunch and fellowship time following. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Heights Church or the charity of one's choice.
