CROWDER, Louis G. Kalamazoo Passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2007. He was born September 8, 1915 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Louis J. and Isabelle Richards Crowder and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for many years. He worked for Checker Motors for 30 years, and also for Smith Body Shop. During WW II, he served his country in the Unites States Army, was a life member of the 40&8 America Legion, the AMVETS and the Kalamazoo Eagles. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen J. Crowder in 1949 and his second wife, Emma ?Peggy? Crowder on January 9, 2003; his sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy & Al Stack. Louis is survived by his step-daughters, Patricia Rop-Jensen of Parchment, Jill Marie Kissinger of Austin, TX and Carolyn Ann Gianunzio of Kalamazoo; 6 step-grandchildren, Kathy Bellow, Lisa Pominville, Tom Jensen, Sonja Hunter, Alex & Nicholas Pominville; 4 step-great grandchildren; and 3 nephews. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has take place and no service is being planned.
