IVENS, Lou Ann
Of Vicksburg, Michigan Passed away Sunday afternoon, April 20, 2008 at her residence. Lou Ann was born March 9, 1953 the daughter of Thomas, Sr. and Betty Gibson Taylor. She was employed for over 25 years with Double Day Bros.; CSE Morse; and several years with W. Soule and Company. Lou Ann enjoyed gardening, bowling, riding motorcycles, playing cards, softball, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas, Sr. On October 14, 1977 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Greg Ivens, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Jodi Ivens; her mother, Betty Taylor; sisters and brother, Jeanne Taylor, Susan Richard Wheat, Thomas, Jr. Christine Taylor; and many nieces, nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Lou Ann's life will be held 1:00PM Saturday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2301 E. Cork St., with Pastor Greg Silvey officiating. Private family interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E.
