Lorraine Sue (West) Harter

Lorraine Sue Harter passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, with her family by her side at the age of 51. She was born in Sturgis, MI on February 22, 1970 to Jack and Lorretta (Howe) West. Lorraine met the love of her life, Paul, at a chance meeting in a Harding's grocery store when they were teenagers. They went on to marry on September 6, 1986 and were happily married for 35 years. She was very loyal and dedicated to her friends and family. She loved traveling to Ludington and Key West, spoiling her grandchildren, and absolutely adored her pug, Toby. Family was always first for Lorraine and she was always putting everyone's needs before her own.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; daughters, Katrina Marie (Jasper) Wolfe and Christina Jenette (Ryan) Mayne-Wall; grandchildren, Amelia, Corey, Ryan, and Bradyn; mother, Lorretta West; brother, Paul West and many close friends and extended family. Lorraine was preceded in death by her father, Jack West and sister, Lorie Ann Yoder.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11:00 am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 3926 S 9th St Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00.
