BRUYSTENS, Lorraine Kay Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007. She was born May 7, 1940 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of William Michael and Catherine Ann Musich Leamy and had lived in the Kalamazoo area most of her life. Lorraine had been employed by Bowers Manufacturing for several years and was a graduate of St. Augustine High School. Her children and grandchildren were her passion. She also loved reading and working at the Augusta Library. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas and was the #1 Elvis fan. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Charles Bruystens of Comstock; her mother and step-father, Catherine Roman Jasiak of Lawton; her children, Diane Dinse of Kalamazoo, Debbie Mattimore of Kalamazoo, Dawn Nuyen of TN, and Ron Marianne Bresson of Lawton; 9 grandchildren, Thomas Charles Dinse, Sean Michael Nuyen, Michael James Mattimore, Troy Allen Dinse, Travis Lee Dinse, Thomas Matthew Mattimore, Trevor Jay Berger, Samantha Catlyn Berger and Lacey Kay Smith; her brother, Lawrence Mari Leamy of Marshall; and her sister, Linda Chuck Mony of Climax. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 12:30 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fort Custer National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
