Loretta Lowe Wiley

WILEY, Loretta Lowe Galesburg, Michigan Loretta went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. She was born December 16, 1932, into a loving family, the daughter of Agnes Swonk and Frank Lowe. Loretta loved children, sewing, cooking, watching TV, Lake Michigan Sunsets and her dogs. She was an instant friend to all and loved life. She was the youngest of 11 children, 9 of whom have preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; two sons, Brian " Bubba" Wiley and Dennis Wiley. She married Allen J. Wiley on June 28, 1952 and they are parents of 8 wonderful children, Bonnie Johnson, Kenneth Lucretta Bradshaw Wiley, Chris Carolyn Hall Wiley, Tim Wiley, Scott Wiley and Theressa Jeff Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Pat Pardee; several nieces and nephews, including 3 special ones, Larry Combs, Brenda Allen and Diana Allen; a special friend, Pat Dent; the nurses and techs at dialysis; and many friends at St. Joseph Church, including Msgr. Mike Hazard. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake St. with Msgr. Michael Hazard and Rev. Fr. Anthony Bitchapogu, Celebrants. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St. on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
