Kalamazoo, MI Passed away in her home on Thursday, October 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born April 17, 1927 in Kalamazoo, Ml, to Fredrick & Clara Tyler. Loretta married William "Bill" O. Gray Sr. on December 23, 1946 who preceded her in death in 2004. Also preceding her in death were her parents, brother Carl Hanna, and sisters Myrtle Ford, Marcella Verity, and Lila Blanchard. Loretta is survived by her nine children William "Bill, Jr." Sherri Gray of Mattawan, Carl "Bud" Shirley Gray of Marshall, Clarence Karin Gray of Mattawan, Jasper "Jack" Raelene Gray of Plainwell, David Diane Gray of Galesburg, Darlene Larry Fox of Kalamazoo, Edward Gray of Kalamazoo, Dianna Jimmie Holman of Galesburg, and Stephen Gray of Galesburg. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A family gathering and celebration of Loretta's life will be held 2 o'clock Saturday, October 27th at the Galesburg City Hall, 200 East Michigan Avenue. Private interment will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
