Lorain W. Finley

FINLEY, Lorain W. Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday May 12, 2007. Lorain was born August 5, 1909 in Martin, Michigan a daughter of Morton and Louisa Schultz Squire. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Vermuelen Furniture for 28 years, retiring in 1993. She was also a member of the Westwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Finley, Jr. on April 18, 2006; and 3 sisters, infant Blanche, Isabelle Hoffmaster, and Mildred Allen. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Jean Finley of Kalamazoo; 3 grandchildren, Charla Steve Wells of West Palm Beach, FL, Michael Cathy Finley of Erlanger, KY, and Stacey Finley of Kalamazoo; 2 great-grandchildren, Micaiah Wells and Alyza Finley; special nephew, Edwin Price of Kalamazoo; and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday in Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Memorials may be directed to the Springs at Bronson Place.
