Of Portage, MI Passed away Friday evening, February 13, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Lora was born January 10, 1922, in Naylor, Missouri, the daughter of Euwel and Vina Elder Hall. She was employed for over 25 years with Sutherland, Georgia-Pacific, Brown Companies prior to her retirement. Lora was a longtime resident of Kalamazoo and Missouri where she had raised cattle for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands, Fred Porter and Joseph Tattitch; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; a son-in-law, Jim Tracy and a grandson, Steven Porter. Surviving are 3 children, Loretta Hank Rentschler of Tucson, AZ, Tony Porter of Mattawan and Judy Tracy of Portage; grandchildren, Lori Gregg Nance, Linda Tim Gladysz, Doris Rentschler Dave Bennett, Johanna Rentschler Pete Orlando, Thomas Tracy, Jeffrey Tamara Tracy, Sue Porter, Rick Porter, Bill Edie Porter, Kris Darren Barrow, Jennifer Andrew Johncock and Ashley Porter; great-grandchildren, Mike Victoria Greenler, JeanAnn Matt Miller, Rachael Beebe, Timothy Beebe, Lily Orlando, Courtney Jackson Tracy, James Lane Tracy, Danielle Tracy, Lindsey Porter, Brandon Porter, Will Porter, Eli Porter, Braydon Porter, Lena Potts, Spencer Potts, Haven Barrow, Shawn Barrow, Lillian Porter, Gavin Johncock and Natalie Johncock; great-great-grandchildren, Addison Miller, Emma Miller, Zayne Deloach, Kadence Sanchez, Hermine Greenler and Makayla Jackson Tracy. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Portage South Cemetery with Pastor James Dyke officiating.
