Lon E. Keith

Lon Edward Keith passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born in Pontiac, MI on December 3, 1951, to the late Wesley and Charlene (Kieffer) Keith. Lon started his career as a disc jockey for WBRN in Big Rapids, MI during his time at Ferris State University obtaining his bachelor’s degree. He retired from Pfizer as a computer analyst after working there for 25 years. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar and dabbling in the stock market. Lon was united in marriage to Dawn Traynor on February 27, 1988, in Big Rapids.

Lon is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; children, Jeff (Nikki) Bryant and Luanne (Russell) Ferrell; and five grandchildren, Alexander and Gracie Ferrell, Carter, Caleb, and Lillian Bryant.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Voyage Church 6339 Atlantic Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators, in memory of Lon Keith.
