NUYEN, Lois June
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, May 23, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Lois was born July 11, 1944 in Pruden, KY the daughter of the late William and Katherine Bennett Wilson. On May 17, 1963 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Joe Nuyen, who survives. Together they owned and operated the Fast Freddie's Pit Stop Restaurants in the Kalamazoo area. Lois enjoyed flowers, farming, the outdoors, and most all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary and Ann. Surviving besides her husband Joe are her children, Daniel and Adrianna, Sammy, Teresa and James, Freddy, and Paula; 13 grandchildren: 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Juanita, Onie, and Barb; loving brothers-in-law, Jim and Gary; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan for their loving care. There will be no visitation. A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial donation can do so at either of the Fast Freddie's Pit Stop locations; 9017 Sprinkle Rd or 3500 East Main.
