Lois A. Dunkelberger

DUNKELBERGER, Lois A.
of Kalamazoo, MI Passed away September 20, 2009 at Meadowood Nursing Home in Bloomingdale. She was born at home, August 28, 1926 in Washtenaw County, MI to the late Carl and Eleanor Schlosser. Lois was united in marriage on August 17, 1951 to Arlo Dunkelberger, for 58 loving years, who survives. Lois's love for her family was always first and foremost. She was a longtime member of Westwood United Methodist Church, where she taught 3rd grade Sunday School for 40 years. She also was in charge of the prayer chain, in the church, for a number of years. Also surviving Lois is her daughter, Lynda Jeff, Sr. Graham of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Jeff Graham, Jr., and K.T. Joel Corbett; two great grandchildren; sister, Jane Ray Schairer. A visitation will be Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8:00pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, Rev. Dr. Wayne A. Price, officiating. Services will take place Friday, 11:00, at Westwood United Methodist Church, 538 Nichols Rd. Memorials may be directed to the church.
