OSTLUND, Mrs. Lodema J.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday morning February 6, 2009. Lodema was born April 1, 1916 in Battle Creek, Michigan a daughter of Edward A. and Ella M. Messenger Erskine. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Kalamazoo County Children's Protective Services before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kenneth Erskine; and a sister, Madge Johnson. She is survived by 4 children, Ann Robert Campbell of Portage, Dee Robert Steeby of Grand Rapids, Melanie Ostlund of California, and Kevin Christine Ostlund of Galesburg; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:30 Friday at the St. Thomas Moore Student Parish, 421 Monroe St. Private burial will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
