Of Kalamazoo Lloyd was born October 18, 1946, in Hammond, Indiana, and died June 8, 2010, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Surviving are his mother, Patricia Widerberg of Saginaw; a brother, Ron Lois Widerberg of Galesburg; two sisters, Marliss Charlie Tapp of Portage and Susan Bruce Bendix of Saginaw; nieces and nephews; his Community Living Options, WMU Center for Disability Service and Kalamazoo Community Mental Health staff families throughout the years, especially Kathy Garvey and Jill Svinicki and special friends Annie, Tim and Mrs. Bolden. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd C. Widerberg. The family will receive friends on Thursday today 5-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Portage South Cemetery with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating.
