Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012. Lloyd was born November 11, 1943 in Kalamazoo, the son of Carl W. and Helen N. Alders Lang and was a lifelong resident of the area. He retired from the Pfizer Company after 20 years of service and was a member of the Kalamazoo Eagles Lodge and the Schoolcraft American Legion. On September 30, 1989, he married Barbara Austin, who survives. Lloyd is also survived by a daughter, Kristy Lang of Lansing; three step-sons, Mark Krohn, Rick Krohn and Robert Krohn, all of Kalamazoo; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a sister, Sandra Clack of Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Karey Fox. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Kalamazoo Evangelical Covenant Church, 5708 E. Main St., Kalamazoo, with Pastor Dave Beetham, officiating. Interment will follow in the West Cooper Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
