Lise Kay Pratt

Lise Kay Pratt, born November 8, 1958, has died on April 2, 2024. A lifetime resident of the Kalamazoo area, she will be greatly missed by family and friends.

For over 40 years, Lise was a Registered Nurse in Bronson Hospital’s Trauma Care Unit, earning the respect of her co-workers and the gratitude of her patients and their families for her thoughtful care and no-nonsense approach.

Her circle of friends was important to Lise. For years there were regular gatherings with nursing friends that she looked forward to.

She also loved to travel – Lise and her lifelong friend Donna Sayre went on many adventures from Hawaii to Maine.

Lise was dedicated to her family, as they were to her. No gathering was complete without her. She enjoyed camping and kayaking and the family Christmas caroling extravaganza. She excelled at “bocce without borders”!

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
