Passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021. Sue was born February 2, 1961 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Dennis, Jr. "Jake" and Linda (Allen) Underwood. Sue was a fun-loving person with a contagious smile. Her laugh and lively story-telling style energized social gatherings. She is remembered fondly as someone who helped many people in their times of need. Sue enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, and cooking for her family.

Sue is survived by her sons, James (Jane) Hill, Tony Blackwell, Will Blackwell; brothers and sister, Dennis "Bo" (Sandy) Underwood, Darryl (Lynn) Underwood, Nola Underwood; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Linda and her sisters, Roberta and Sherry. Sue had twelve grandchildren, Caleb and Chloe (James); Azariah, Quin'tone, Aniya, and Miracle (Tony); Jazlean, Ny'Acies, Willie, Troy, Alyece, and Triston (Will) and two great-grandchildren, Cartion and Natavion (Will).

A private family service will be held at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Private interment will take place at a later date.
