Linda Louise Hartman

Linda Louise Hartman, age 80, of Portage passed away December 22, 2024. She was born July 20, 1944, in Vicksburg, Michigan to the late Howard F. and Barbara J. (Churchill) Baughman.

Linda was a graduate of Portage Central High School and continued her education by earning a business degree. She worked as a data entry analyst at Upjohn for many years and retired from there. Linda loved her family and friends dearly and is fondly remembered as a wonderful mother and aunt. Linda always kept herself busy and was always helping others. She enjoyed traveling, especially with family. Some of her fondest memories were visits to her grandparents at the lake.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Hartman; children, Jeffrey Stetz, Justin (Nicole) Hartman, and Cory (Farris) Abdulla; grandchildren, Preston, Emerysn, and Alya; sisters, Janine Edmonds and Janice Rustenholtz; brothers, Kerry (Jolene) Baughman and Dale (Shirley) Hayes; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4:00-6:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009. Linda will be laid to rest at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.

The family would like to thank Renee Peck for the impeccable care she provided Linda.
