Lillian Marie Leppen, age 85, passed away July 26, 2017 in Kalamazoo, MI.
Marie was born November 17, 1931, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Duncan and Dorthea (Warren) Boudreau. She was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and had worked at General Motors for over 20 years prior to her retirement in 1975. Family was a very important part of Marie's life. Surviving are her children, Gary Leppen, Cathy (Ben) Champion, Sheila Vaughn, Barbara Fye, Rick Leppen, Robert Leppen, Russell Leppen; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her sons Steven and Greg; and by her siblings William, Joseph, Betty, Mary and Dorothy. A service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, July 31st at the New Apostolic Church (3600 W. Milham Ave.) with Evangelist Peter Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00PM Sunday, July 30th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street and from 12:00 to 1:00PM Monday, July 31st at the church. Immediately following the service a burial will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Memorials in Marie's memory may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
