Lillian R. Hart, age 91, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born on June 7, 1927 in Detroit, MI a daughter of the late Lars and Ellen Henriksen and spent the majority of her life in the Detroit area. Lillian had a long career as a travel consultant for S&H Travel and American Express Travel. On September 13, 1950 Lillian married Frank M. Hart who preceded her in death on January 13, 2007. Lillian was also preceded in death by two children, Cheryl Hart and Rick Hart and a son-in-law James Weishaar. Surviving are three children, Joyce Weishaar of Commerce Township, MI, Gregory Hart of Vicksburg, MI and Jill (Larry) Culby of Benton Harbor, MI; a daughter-in-law, Ann Hart; ten grandchildren, Patrick Jackson, Lindsay (Brian) Harrod, Jennifer (Ian Ellis) Culby, Alisa (Keif) Storrar, Shannon (Ben) Vrobel, Johnathan Hart, Stephanie Hart, Nick Brooks and Kelli Hart; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life reception will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Heathers Club of Bloomfield, 900 Upper Scotsborough Way. Private inurnment will be held in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
