Of Kalamazoo Passed away on March 16, 2010 at Bronson Hospital. Lillian was born December 25, 1920 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of Leonard and Hazel Townsen Barrett and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. Prior to her retirement, she owned and operated along with her husband Miles, Butler Buildings where she worked as office manager. Lillian lived on a lake for most of her adult life. Lillian and Miles owned a cabin in Northern Michigan and together they enjoyed hunting and fishing. Miles preceded her in death in 1986 and was also preceded by a brother Leon Barrett and a sister Leda Gwynn. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, March 20th in the Chapel at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery with the Rev. James Dyke officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until the service at 2 pm at the cemetery. Memorial contributions in Lillian's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
