Vicksburg Leroy passed away Friday, October 22, 2010. He was born August 10, 1932 in Texas Township, the son of Herschel and Nova Knuckles Ramp and had lived in the Vicksburg area for many years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War and had been employed by Humphrey Products for over 24 years. On December 31, 1952, he married Kaye Pion, and she preceded him in death on December 7, 2004. He was also preceded by his parents; and a daughter, Laurie K. Riley on February 9, 1991, and a niece, Susan McMurtrie. Leroy is survived by: his granddaughters, Kate Frank Hines and Rachel Riley all of Kalamazoo; a sister, Beverly Segar; and nephews, Ron Tryon, Mike Tryon and David Tryon. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 4:00 Saturday afternoon at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Private interment will be held in Hope Cemetery at a later date.
