WEST, Mr. Leo D., Jr.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday morning November 6, 2007. Leo was born December 20, 1913 in Detroit, Michigan a son of Leo and Leila Coon West, Sr. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed the Eckrich; John Morrell; and Emge Meat Packing Companies before retiring. He attended Milwood United Methodist Church. He was also a life member of the Kalamazoo V.F.W. and Moose Lodges. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters, Patience Lince and Helen Nunemaker. On December 8, 1945, he was united in marriage to Maxine P. McClish West who survives. Also surviving, a sister, Ruth Rhodes of Dearborn, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o?clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday. Interment will be in Mt.
