WEBSTER, Lee
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away at his home on May 23, 2010. He was born September 3, 1936 in Vicksburg, MI to Lester and Loraine Horsfall Webster. Lee was united in marriage on May 3, 1969 to Linda Lewis. Lee enlisted in the U.S. Army right after high school in 1954, until honorably discharged. He was a member of Country Christian Evangelical Free Church and contracted the building of the church. He worked for Upjohn for nearly 40 years. He also loved building and playing golf when he had spare time. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Steven Diane Webster of VA, Brenda Farrell Sigler of CA, Norman Webster of Caledonia and Linnea Rick Hoekwater of Jenison; sister, Marian Melvin Zimmerman; brother, Walter Beverly Webster; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, Kristopher, Cheryl, Madeline, Brianna, and Analiese; a great-granddaughter, Hannah; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, and his twin sister, Lois DeVries. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 3-8:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Rd. A Memorial Service will take place Thursday, 11:00 o'clock, at the Country Christian Evangelical Free Church, 9286 S. 36th, Scotts. Rev. Pat Clarey will officiate services. A private interment will take place in Gilson Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church or to Borgess Hospice and Visiting Nurses Association.
