Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday evening October 27, 2007. Lavonne was born January 3, 1927 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Helen Knowles. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident. She enjoyed reading and loved dancing and playing bingo with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nickolas V. Lubrick on July 17, 2006; a son, John Nickolas Lubrick in 1969; and a brother, Wallace Knowles. She is survived by 2 children, Gary Lubrick of Kalamazoo; a daughter, Sandra Willard Morton of Vicksburg; 3 grandchildren, Candice Dustin Harback, and Nickolas and Monika Lubrick both of Kalamazoo; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Russell Elfrieda Knowles of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 12 noon Monday, November 5th in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. There will be a gathering in her memory following services.
