Lavine W Wiessner

WIESSNER, Mr. Lavine W. Kalamazoo, MI Died Wednesday morning August 22, 2007. Lavine was born October 7, 1917 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of William and Petra Huibregtse Wiessner. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Upjohn Company before retiring. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gladys N. Schug Wiessner. Services will be held 1 o?clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery with full military honors.
