LAMBERT, Larry D., Sr.
of Portage, Michigan Larry passed away early Thursday morning, October 31, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born on January 2, 1954 in Jackson, MI, the son of Larry W. and Wava Fletcher Lambert. On July 25, 1977, he was united in marriage to Katherine McNett, who survives. Also surviving are their three children, Larry David Jr. Melissa Lambert of Comstock, Christopher Lambert of Scotts and Angela Lambert of Parchment; twelve grandchildren, Teresa, Tyler, Curstin, Aeireanna, Keith, Eli, Johnathon, Madison, Neveaeh, Codie, Dylan and Corday; one great-grandson Zaiden; parents, Larry and Wava Lambert of Portage; sister, Ruth Lambert of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews and many extended children,. Preceding him in death were his two brothers, Steve and Dennis Lambert. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, where friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM until the time of service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
