Larry Hill

HILL, Larry L.
of Kalamazoo Passed away May 12, 2009 at the Battle Creek VA Hospital. He was born February 12, 1945 in Kalamazoo, to the late Charles and Aileen D. Thomas Hill. Larry was united in marriage on May 1, 1981 to the former Judith Wynn Field, who survives. He always enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and going for walks. But, his favorite pastime was reading Louis L'Amour western books and while reading, eating his energy food - plain M&M's. Larry served in the U.S. Navy from June of 1964 until honorably discharged in June of 1973. Also surviving Larry are his children, Mark S. Allen Owen Field, Jennifer A. James A. Sr. Weston and Sherry L. Alan Darlison all of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Tyler and Rex Weston and Matthew Darlison; brothers, Charles A. Hill, Robert W. Hill, Harold L. Hill, Tommy L. Hill; sisters, Sharon K. John Charlier and Shirley A. Hill; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; several cousins; his "adopted" daughter, Dee Murton; and his special "adopted" family member, Lisa Payne. Also preceding Larry in death were two infant brothers, Edward and William Hill. No visitation is scheduled. Graveside service will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 26th at 1:00pm. Arrangements are by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
