Beloved son and brother is now walking with his Lord and Savior. Larry passed away on Friday May 25, 2007. He was born April 21, 1954 in Kalamazoo, the son of Len and Marie Scarlett Cramer and has been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Portage Northern High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Davenport College. Larry loved his Lord and was a faithful and active member of the Second Reformed Church. Larry never complained and remained independent despite his physical disabilities, teaching his family and friends true contentment and patience. Surviving are his parents, Len and Marie Cramer of Portage; two sisters, Caryn Randy Locker of South Haven and Julie Cramer of Kalamazoo; a nephew, Adam Leah Locker of Holland; two nieces Aimee and Allyse Locker of South Haven; grandmother, Flossie Scarlett of Portage; aunt and uncle, Joan and Don Stamm and several cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Jennie Cramer and Chan Scarlett. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Gil Olivarez and staff, Dr. John Collins and the caregivers at Life Care Center of Plainwell and In-House Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. A Service to Celebrate Larry?s life and homegoing will be held 1:00 pm Monday June 4 at the Second Reformed Church 2323 Stadium Drive with Rev. Fritz Kruithof and Rev. Neil VanHeest officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12-1 pm and following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials in Larry?s memory may be directed to Life Care Center of Plainwell or In-House Hospice.
