Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010. Vic was born March 20, 1936 in Elejas, Latvia, the son of Viktors and Mirdza Ozols Fride and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for many years. He served in the United States Army and was employed by General Motors as a tool and die maker for 30 years. He is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Fride of Kalamazoo; and a brother, Gunars Margaret Fride and their two children, from Oregon. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., on Thursday morning, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
