Of Portage Kim passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, April 20, 2012. She was born September 2, 1973 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of James and Carol Bowsher Doxtater. Surviving are her son, Cody Doxtater of Vicksburg; mother, Carol Doxtater; brother, James Doxtater of Richland; sister-in-law, Emma Doxtater of Tennessee; niece, Kellie Doxtater; and two nephews, Gavin and Hunter Doxtater. A memorial service for Kim will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 5, at United General Baptist Church, 2772 Roosevelt Avenue, Kalamazoo.
