Plainwell Kent Brust died Wednesday morning, November 21, 2007, in Kalamazoo. He was born June 13, 1927 in Mankato, Minnesota, a son of Felix and Lenore Schneider Brust and had lived most of his life in this area. Kent worked for over 40 years as a pipe fitter and welder and was a member of Plumber & Pipe Fitters Local #357. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Stewart Brust. On July 18, 1946, Kent was united in marriage with the former Esther Abraham, who survives. Also surviving are four children and their spouses, Steve & Lydia Brust of Bowling Green, KY, Mike & Angie Brust of Colorado Springs, CO, Gail & Randy Blank of Kalamazoo and Todd & Kimberly Brust of Plainwell; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Pat Vogelpohl; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday November 24, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses East Congregation 4200 Nazareth Road.
