Kenneth Lee Moerman

Kenneth Lee Moerman, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 27, 2023.  He was born April 14, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna (Marshall); Children, Doug (Jane), Greg (Vickie), Mike (Tiffany); Grandchildren, Ben (Kristin), Janna, Case, Clay (Danielle), Sydney, and Bradley; Great-Grandchild, Melrose, and one TBD; Sister, Linda Markee; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents (Bub and Marie), and his brother, Ron.

Ken worked for Otis Elevator Company for 43 years, initially as a mechanic, and retiring as a Regional Field Operations Manager.  Ken was appointed, and served, on The Elevator Safety Board, acting as the Board Chairman until he retired.  He was an exceptionally talented handyman who could fix anything.  He enjoyed his summers on Gun Lake, and winters in retirement in Florida.  His greatest joy and priority was his family, of which he was extremely proud.  Although he will be deeply missed, his positive spirit, attitude, character, and non-judgmental nature will remain.

A private memorial service and celebration of life will be held in the spring.
