HATFIELD, Kenneth Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday May 13, 2007, at his home. Kenneth was born December 7, 1938, in Fonde, KY, a son of Roosevelt and Louise Hatfield. On May 31, 1962, he was honorably discharged from the US Army. Kenneth worked for Georgia Pacific for 33 years before retiring. He attended Outreach for Jesus and enjoyed working on old cars and built several street rods. On July 5, 1958, Kenneth was united in marriage with the former Mildred J. Wade who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons, Kenneth Hatfield of Kalamazoo, John Terri Hatfield of Otsego, Tim Hatfield of Comstock and Melvin Michelle Hatfield of Plainwell; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Deeke JoAnn Hatfield of Toledo, OH; a sister, Lorethia Raymond Moore of Gobles; and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family will gather for visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Graveside services will be held 10:00 Thursday morning in the mausoleum chapel of Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave., with Pastor Pete Terburg, officiating.
