DOZEMAN, Kenneth E.
of Schoolcraft Passed away August 28, 2011 at home. He was born June 21, 1937 in Kalamazoo to the late Alfred and Irene Welbaum Dozeman, Sr. Ken enjoyed his woodworking shop, fishing, playing golf and telling jokes. He was a loving brother and a kind and caring person who was always 'there' for anybody. Surviving Ken are his sisters, Diana Day of Schoolcraft, Janet Cleland of Portage, Nancy Williams of Oshtemo; and brother, Dennis Debbie Dozeman of Comstock; sister-in-law, Norma Dozeman; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Oakwood Bible Church and a retiree from Upjohn Corporation. Also preceding Ken in death were brothers, Alfred Dozeman, Roger Dozeman and Dale Dozeman; sister, Patty Dozeman; brothers-in-law, Tom Day and Steve Williams; and special friend Dave Potts. A memorial service will take place at Oakwood Bible Church, 4100 Oakland Dr., on Wednesday at 11:00, where family will greet friends from 10:30-11:00. Pastor Stephen Johnson will officiate. A private burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo at a later date.
