Kenneth C. Fricke

FRICKE, Mr. Kenneth C. Vicksburg, MI Died Thursday afternoon December 21, 2006 at his residence. Kenneth was born September 4, 1934 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of George and Wannette Terrell Fricke. Kenneth graduated from State High in 1953. He loved sports. He was united in marriage with Jean Ann Block in 1956. They resided in Florida from 1956-1959. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with the Upjohn Company for 31 years, retiring in 1990. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean A. Fricke on March 8, 1991; 2 sisters, Connie Strong and Shirley Drenth; and a brother, Gary Fricke. He is survived by 4 children, Tammie Fricke of Portage, and Marc Fricke, Kevin Sasha Singletary Fricke, and Alfred Fricke all of Vicksburg; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Fricke of Portage and Chase Fricke of Vicksburg; a sister, Georgia Drenth of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Program. Kenneth will greatly be missed.
