Of Portage, Michigan Passed away Thursday morning, May 21, 2009. Ken was born July 25, 1925 in Schoolcraft, MI the son of Claus and Ella Ressler Adams. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was employed for several years with Upjohn Company. Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in his garden. He was united in marriage to the former Kay Vos who preceded him in death on January 21, 1994. Surviving are his 4 children, Kris Ron Rothwell, Kelli Fitch, Jeff Denise Adams, Carol Adams; 5 grandchildren, Nick, Heather, Amber, Andrea, and Sarah; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Don Florence Adams, Bud Adams; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 o'clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Portage Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Kairos Dwelling. www.langelands.com
