Portage, MI Died Thursday morning July 12, 2012. Kelly was born June 18, 1962 in Flint, Michigan a daughter of Dean and Theresa Aldridge Courts. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1998 was employed with State Farm Insurance. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents. On February 14, 1981, she was united in marriage to James L. Miller who survives. This began a 33 year adventure of life and love which will not be forgotten. Also surviving, 2 sons, Matthew Jeanann Miller and Jack Miller all of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Addison and Emma; a brother, Guy Debbie Courts of Davison, MI; a sister, Becky Joseph of Gaines, MI; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kelly also leaves behind a mark on everyone she met. She was passionate about her family, true friends, the proper treatment of everyone, and a garden that she will be asked to replicate where she now dwells. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Kairos Dwelling.
