WAGNER, Keith A.
Of Richland Keith passed away May 24, 2013 at his home with his family by his side following a hard 20 month battle with ALS. He was born April 23, 1954 in Marietta, OH, one of six children to Elwood and Mildred Francis Wagner. On October 9, 1982, he was united in marriage to the former Nancy Lane. He was employed by MillAssist Services in Otsego as a machinist for many years until his retirement. He had a strong faith in God and loved spending his free time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids. Keith was an avid sports fan and very active. He enjoyed jogging, bicycling, camping, and family game night. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Nancy Wagner; their loving daughters, Charie Jim Swope of Otsego and Layne Jeremiah Oetman of Acworth, GA; four grandchildren, Jared and Cierra Swope and Carter and Jolee Oetman; three brothers, Don Beverly Wagner, Bill Rosi Wagner and Michael Debbie Wagner; sister, Kim Wagner; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Janice West. A funeral service celebrating Keith's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the ALS Association www.alsa.org .
