Of Otsego Kaylea passed away Sunday morning, July 20, 2008 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born September 29, 2000 in Plainwell. Surviving are her parents; Karen Gilmore Hatten and Douglas Rachel Klemens Hatten both of Otsego; grandparents, Kathy and Mike Sackett of Otsego, Gordon Sharon Gilmore of Kalamazoo, and Doug and Louann Hatten of Otsego; great-grandparents, Harm LeRoy of Otsego, Joyce O'Dell of Otsego, Ken Gerry Gilmore of Kalamazoo, and Marjorie Gilmore of Allegan; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services for Kaylea will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Pastor Jason Zimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday tomorrow at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to The Kaylea A. Hatten Fund, c/o Charter One Bank.
