KayDon Husen, Jr

HUSEN, KayDon , Jr. Vicksburg & Portage Passed away Monday, November 13, 2006. He was born December 25, 1958 in Saginaw, the son of KayDon, Sr., and Joyce Frank Husen and had been a resident of the Vicksburg and Portage area for many years. He attended Lake Center Bible Church, and owned and operated Don?s Brakes, Mufflers and More. He had a zest for life and loved boating, drag racing, snowmobiling, fishing and his Harley. But most of all, Don lived for his kids. On April 3, 1982, he married the former Linda Campbell, who survives. Don is also survived by his son, Brandon Husen and his daughters, Courtney and Morgan Husen all at home; his mother, Joyce Husen of Portage; and his sisters, Pam Childs of FL and Lynn Andy Placher of Niles. He was preceded in death by his father, Don, Sr. in 1993, and his brother, Bob Husen in 1995. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday in the Lake Center Bible Church, 805 E. Osterhout Road with Pastor Greg Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue on Thursday from 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or Lake Center Bible Church.
