O?LARGE, Kattie M. Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday evening December 17, 2006. Kattie was born December 30, 1949 in Louin, Mississippi a daughter of Ben and Alma Moffett Thompson, Sr. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the Upjohn Company for 20 years. She was also a member of the Christian Life Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Althea Tatum; and a brother, Joseph Thompson. She is survived by 3 children, Jarita Gilmer, and Lonnie and Kevin O?Large all of Kalamazoo; 9 grandchildren; her fiancé, Coleman Raven of Kalamazoo; 4 brothers, Eddie Moffett and L.C. Thompson both of Seattle, WA, Ben Dorothy Thompson, Jr. of Lafayette, LA, and Larry Thompson of Seattle, WA; her former husband, Lonnie Pearl O?Large of Kalamazoo; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 12:00 o?clock Friday at the First United Baptist Church, 821 S. Burdick. Friends may meet the family Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
