Kathy Louise Scott

SCOTT, Miss Kathy Louise Kalamazoo, MI Went home to be with our Lord and Savior early March 7th 2007 peacefully, after a long struggle with Diabetes and Kidney disease. Kathy was born and raised and was a lifetime member of the Kalamazoo community. Proceeded in Death by her Children infant daughter Kathy Louise Scott, infant twin Son Jesse Bruce Merriam as well as her Parents Father Albert B. Scott SR. and Mother Alice M. Scott Whipple. Still Living are Kathy's eldest Son Jason D. Scott and Jason's Wife Dawn M. Scott Nufer and her youngest Son Bruce V. Merriam III twin son to Deceased son Jesse Merriam all of Kalamazoo. Her Eldest Brother, Mr. Brian Scott of Oklahoma, Elder sister, Mrs. Mary Pietrzek of Kalamazoo, and Twin Brother, Mr. Jack Scott of Howard City, MI. Several Aunts & Uncles, Cousins, as well as cherished Nieces and Nephews and their children. Kathy had many other friends throughout her life yet, We would especially like to mention Kathy's Life Long Best Friends Mrs. Brenda Jones of Climax, Mrs. Darlene Folkersma of Kalamazoo, and Mrs. Nancy Woodruff of Kalamazoo. Kathy is remembered as a very devoted single mother whom struggled to do her very best with what she had and was able to achieve and provide. Kathy loved the Lord and was a true prayer warrior to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed and joyfully remembered by everyone that was blessed enough to know her. It was Kathy's wishes for direct cremation. There will be no visitation. Her family will host a Memorial Service in her honor 1 o?clock Saturday, March 17th at the Cherry Creek Community Church, 10641 Shaver Rd., Portage, with Rev. Brad Belcher officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Cherry Creek Community Church.
